The Evergreen Choir was recently asked to
perform amongst Broadways brightest stars in
the soon to be released Dinosaur Holiday CD.
The American Museum of Natural History and
Museum Music, Inc. have created a holiday
classic of a different kind. Using the famous
melodies from our favorite seasonal songs, the
lyrics on the CD have been modified to tell the
story of the Dinosaurs. TONY awarding winning
performers from Broadway such as Brad Oscar
of The Producers, Maureen McGovern of Little
Women, Shuler Hensley from Oklahoma and
Donna Murphy from Wonderful Town all
performed solo pieces on the soon to be
released holiday CD. The Evergreen Choir was
asked to perform two selections; the Allosaurus
Chorus, sung to the tune of the Hallelujah
Chorus from Handel's Messiah, and We Wish
you a Dino Holiday, sung to the tune of We Wish
you a Merry Christmas. The CD will be released
in time for this holiday season and will be sold
at The American Museum of Natural History in
addition to the museums online store as well
